Bench Warrant Issued For Ex CSI Star

After missing an important court hearing, a bench warrant was issued Monday May 21, 2012 for Gary Dourdan, ex CSI star.
According to his attorneys, Dourdan was in Morocco working on a project and that is why he could not make it back in time for the court hearing appearance.
The attorney told the judge that Dourdan would make it to court right after his flight arrives at 12:45 and so the judge issued a bench warrant for failure to appear, but gave Dourdan until 2:30 to appear.
Dourdan, 45, was arrested back in November of 2011 for felony battery charges after ex-girlfriend Nicole Vail Cannizzaro claimed that he punched her in the face and broke her nose during an altercation.
A jury trial was scheduled to begin June 1, 2012.
Unless the warrant issue is resolved, Dourdan can be expected to be arrested and put behind bars at any moment.
